As we all know, there are many articles out about being active and all of the benefits because of being active. I thought you might like to know a benefit that you might not know about children’s activities.
There was a study recently in Florida about if children were active like in a gymnastics, dance class or similar activity their reading and math scores could go up by 10%! Now, besides the physical benefit of activity (and not being a couch potato), there is also a benefit for academics. Pretty cool, huh? Thought you might like to know that.
Please give the Horizon office a call at 616-669-7722 if you would like more information. We have also done our own study complete with a graph that we can show you if you are interested :).
Here’s to a great day and even better tomorrow!
